Vegas' Fleury ties for 10th on wins list

LAS VEGAS (AP) Jonathan Marchessault was 13 when goalie Marc-Andre Fleury got his first NHL win on Oct. 18, 2003.

Nearly 15 years later, Marchessault helped Fleury reach a major milestone with victory No. 407.

Marchessault scored twice and Fleury tied Glenn Hall for 10th place in NHL history as the Vegas Golden Knights beat the Buffalo Sabres 4-1 on Tuesday night.

Johnson scores 3 as Tampa beats 'Canes

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) The final score was much more important to Tyler Johnson than his fourth career hat trick.

Johnson had three goals, Yanni Gourde scored on a power play to put Tampa Bay ahead and the Lightning beat the Carolina Hurricanes 4-2 on Tuesday night.

Oilers rally from 3 down, top Jets in OT

WINNIPEG, Manitoba (AP) Edmonton coach Todd McLennan made no apology for his bias toward Oilers star Connor McDavid.

McLennan only had to watch McDavid score twice and add two assists as the Oilers overcame a three-goal deficit to beat the Winnipeg Jets 5-4 Tuesday night on Darnell Nurse's goal 1:25 into overtime.

MacKinnon sets record but Rangers win SO

NEW YORK (AP) Kevin Shattenkirk didn't like being held out of the lineup last Thursday. He came through with a strong effort in his second game back.

The defenseman had assists on both Rangers goals in regulation and then scored the deciding goal in the third round of a shootout to lift New York over the Colorado Avalanche 3-2 on Tuesday night.

Dubnyk's 27 saves get Wild by Coyotes

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) Eric Staal had already seen his former teammate rob him of a goal once. When he got another chance, he made sure it didn't happen again.

Staal and Mikael Grandlund scored and Devan Dubnyk stopped 27 of 28 shots to lead the Minnesota Wild to a 2-1 win over the Arizona Coyotes on Tuesday night.

Wings' Svechnikov sidelined 5-6 months

DETROIT (AP) Red Wings forward Evgeny Svechnikov is expected to miss five to six months after having surgery on his right knee.

The Red Wings said Tuesday the surgery was done by Dr. Kyle Anderson. Svechnikov required ACL reconstruction.

Pens D Schultz breaks leg, out 4 months

PITTSBURGH (AP) Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Justin Schultz will miss the next four months because of a fractured left leg.

Schultz injured the leg in the first period of a shootout loss to Montreal on Saturday after getting tangled up with Canadiens forward Tomas Plekanec. The team announced Monday that Schultz underwent surgery Sunday and will be out until February.
